Hossam Hassan speaks before Cape Verde game

The Pharaohs' assistant coach Hossam Hassan highlighted the importance of the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers matches against Cape Verde.

Hassan stated that the Pharaohs are fully prepared for these matches and that they aim to secure the three points in the two matches.

The Pharaohs will face Cape Verde in their first match of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers on 21 March at the Cairo International Stadium.

Hassan said in a press conference on Monday that the Pharaohs are ready for the match against Cape Verde and that they have been preparing for this match for a long time.

"We know that Cape Verde is a strong team, but we are confident that we can beat them," Hassan said.

"We have a good team and we are well-prepared for this match. We will do our best to win the match and get the three points," he added.

Hassan also praised the Egyptian fans and said that their support during the matches is very important for the team.

"We hope to see a large number of fans in the stadium on Tuesday to support us," Hassan said.

"Their support will give us a great boost and will help us to win the match," he added.

The Pharaohs will play their second match against Cape Verde on 29 March in Praia.
