What Happened?

In the fourth episode of the second season of "Gunshot Wound," WEB Escobar was killed on December 2, 1993, in a shootout with members of the Search Bloc.

Aftermath

After dismantling the Medellín Cartel, the Search Bloc was transferred. In real life, not only did no Colonel Carrillo ever exist, but no one in Search Bloc ever died in such an ambush.

Colonel Carrillo's Fate

Colonel Horacio Carrillo is not alive. He died in 1992 at the age of 46. His son, Martínez Jr., was killed in a traffic accident in 2003. On March 22, 2020, Martínez died of a heart attack while hospitalized.
